RBI raises contactless card transaction limit to Rs 5,000

The increase in transaction limit will help expand adoption of digital payments, Governor Shaktikanta Das said in his address after announcing RBI Monetary Policy Committee#39;s decision to keep repo rate unchanged at 4 percent.
